Cathy B. Taylor was appointed as President and Chief Executive Officer of Phoenix Footwear Group, Inc. (http://www.phoenixfootwear.com/) in April, 2007. She previously worked with a number of companies as a marketing and branding consultant, including Phoenix Footwear Group and Rocket Dog LLC. Prior to her consulting work, Ms. Taylor served in a number of senior management positions including President and CEO of Wenger North America, the maker of the ‘Genuine Swiss Army Knife,’ CEO of Vivre, Inc., a luxury catalog and e-commerce company, and multiple positions with Cole-Haan and Nike, Inc.
She spent over 20 years at Cole-Haan, serving as CEO for six years. She began at Cole-Haan leading the development of the retail division, then expanded the brand to become a well-known footwear and accessories luxury wholesaler and retailer. After the acquisition of Cole-Haan by Nike, she held a dual-role as part of Nike’s strategic team by leading their retail division, including the development of NIKETOWN and its position in retail globally.
During her extensive career, she has developed strong and diverse strategic and operating experience in numerous areas, including branding, product design/development, global sourcing, and senior executive management.
Cathy was educated at Loyola University, Chicago, IL and splits her time between New York and San Diego.
