Jeff Reed has had a successful career of over 25 years as a senior financial executive. He has built businesses and created shareholder value by improving margins and cash flow, building strong organizations, and has successfully executed acquisition build-up strategies in three different industries in leveraged environments. Jeff also has a strong operations background. Jeff has broad-based business experience and has been directly involved in over 60 buy/sell transactions (primarily buy-side) over the last 15 years with single transaction values over $1.1 billion. Jeff has led all transaction-related activities in his CFO roles including negotiation, structuring, diligence, financing, financial integration, and managing all financial and administrative areas (including insurance, benefits, legal, etc.). Jeff is non-executive Chairman of Fischbein and served as CPC's operating partner in that transaction.

Jeff was most recently the VP/CFO (and a founding member) of Pro Mach, Inc. (“PMI”) where he worked from 1998 to 2005. PMI was a strategic acquisition build-up in the packaging machinery industry backed by two private equity groups. PMI was formed through 13 acquisitions and became one of the North American leaders in packaging equipment. The business was sold in December 2004 for a significant gain to its shareholders. While at PMI, Jeff managed all acquisition activities, treasury, legal, insurance/benefits, financial/accounting, etc. Since leaving PMI, Jeff has worked as a consultant and advisor to various private equity firms. From 1996 to 1998, Jeff was the VP Finance and then CFO of Greenfield Industries, a NASDAQ listed manufacturer of industrial cutting tools and consumer products with revenues in excess of $600 million. The company was sold to Kennametal, Inc. in 1997 for over $1.1billion. Prior to Greenfield, Jeff worked as director of corporate finance at Shaw Industries, Inc. (a $5+ billion floor covering manufacturer now part of Berkshire Hathaway) where he directed numerous acquisitions of commercial flooring contractors and managed the integration of the group. He started his career at the public accounting firm of Arthur Andersen where he was a senior manager in the audit and business advisory practice. Jeff is a CPA and has an undergraduate degree in business/accounting from the University of Georgia.
