James H. Clippard
Principal

Mr. Clippard joined Circle Peak Capital in June 2005, after more than 5 years in financial services. Mr. Clippard was formerly a Vice President of Equity Derivatives at Bear, Wagner Specialists, a subsidiary of Bear Stearns Companies, and an analyst at Spear, Leeds, and Kellogg (SLK), a subsidiary of Goldman, Sachs. While at Bear, Wagner and SLK, Mr. Clippard's focus was on corporate development and expanding operations within index derivatives.

Since joining Circle Peak Capital as an Associate in 2005, Mr. Clippard has worked on all of CPC's transactions, including Shari's Management Corp,, Luxury Optical Holdings LLC, WealthTrust, LLC, and Fischbein LLC. He supports both the Financial Services and Consumer Products efforts of the firm. Mr. Clippard was promoted to Princpial in January 2008.

Mr. Clippard received his MBA in May 2006 from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Finance. Mr. Clippard also received a BS degree in Economics from Cornell University, where he was on the Dean's List, and attended the London School of Economics. Mr. Clippard is from Chappaqua, NY, and lives in New York City, NY.
