Sarah Qian
Sarah Qian joined Circle Peak in April 2011. After earning her BS in Business Administration at Washington University in St. Louis, Sarah spent three years advising global retail and consumer goods clients as a management consultant in Deloitte's Strategy & Operations practice. Her project work focused on customer experience, supply chain effectiveness, and market strategy. For the past year, she has been working with the corporate strategy team at La Mer to build and implement their 3-year brand strategy. Sarah is currently earning her MBA at Columbia Business School, concentrating on Management, Strategy and International Business.
Seth Zuckerman
Seth Zuckerman joined Circle Peak in 2010. Prior to Circle Peak, Mr. Zuckerman was a project manager at the Monitor Group, a management consulting firm. While at Monitor, he focused on corporate strategy and transaction advisory work for industrial mid-sized clients. Mr. Zuckerman also has innovation, organization, and marketing strategy experience in consumer goods, retail, health care, and financial services. Mr. Zuckerman graduated magna cum laude with a BA in Economics and Political Science from Columbia University and is currently an MBA candidate at Columbia Business School.
Melissa Thompson
Ms. Thompson joined Circle Peak in 2010. Prior to Circle Peak, Ms. Thompson worked at Goldman Sachs in sales and trading. She covered hedge funds trading commodity derivatives and also worked in proprietary emerging market derivative trading. Ms. Thompson holds a BA from Barnard College and is currently an MBA candidate at Columbia Business School.
Truett Horne
Truett Horne joined Circle Peak in 2010. Prior to Circle Peak, he was employed as an Investment Banking Associate with Hovde Financial. There he was responsible for evaluating the financial and strategic options of financial institutions, performing financial analyses and valuations of banks and thrifts, facilitating merger and acquisition transactions, and assessing the impact of national and regional trends on the financial services industry. Prior to joining Hovde Financial, Mr. Horne was an Investment Banking Analyst in the Financial Institutions Group of Bear, Stearns & Co. In this capacity, he focused on strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, and public offerings of equity and debt for financial institutions across the United States. Mr. Horne received a BA in Business and Economics from Rhodes College, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and is currently an MBA candidate at Columbia Business School.
Ellen Yan
Ellen Yan recently joined Circle Peak. Prior to Circle Peak, Ms. Yan was employed as an investments associate at Citi Private Bank, in its Investment Lab. In this role, Ms. Yan was solely dedicated to developing and delivering comprehensive financial planning strategies to address HNW and UHNW clients' wealth management goals, including cash flow needs, asset allocation, retirement goals, education planning and estate planning strategies. Ellen received her BA in Political Science from Columbia University, and is currently in the Columbia Business School MBA program.
Catherine McConnell
Catherine McConnell joined Circle Peak in November 2010. Ms. McConnell graduated from Loyola University in Maryland in May 2010 and received a BBA in Finance.
