Role: Circle Peak is currently seeking a Pre MBA Associate to assist the firm in assessing a growing pipeline of potential investments and in managing its portfolio of completed investments. This position will support the firm in all aspects of its investment process and most other firm activities.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial analysis and financial models, including comparables, DCFs, LBO and growth equity modeling, and investor return analyses
- Develop market and competitive research reports
- Create and maintain various internal informational databases
- Support investor communication and other firm administrative efforts
- Identify and analyze potential investment opportunities
- Source proprietary private equity deal flow consistent with firm criteria
- Interacting with portfolio company management teams to develop budgets and business plans
- Assisting in fund raising activities
Qualifications: Candidates must possess the following to be considered for the position:
- Previous private equity, investment banking, or leverage finance experience (2-4 years)
- Strong financial analysis and modeling skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely with limited supervision
- Very strong work ethic; self-starter; ability to multi-task; resourceful
- Strong written skills; exceptionally strong oral communication
- Enthusiastic, pro-active, positive attitude with good listening skills and high integrity
