Executive Professional Background
Mark C. Biderman
Mr. Biderman serves as chairman of Full Circle Capital's audit committee. He also currently serves as a director and chairman of the audit committee of Atlas Energy, Inc., an independent natural gas producer that also owns an interest in an energy services provider. Mr. Biderman served as Vice Chairman of National Financial Partners, Corp. ("NFP"), a financial services company focused on distributing financial products, from September 2008 through December 2008. From November 1999 until September 2008, Mr. Biderman served as NFP's Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. From May 1987 to October 1999, Mr. Biderman served as Managing Director and Head of the Financial Institutions Group at CIBC World Markets, an investment banking firm, and its predecessor, Oppenheimer & Co., Inc. Prior to investment banking, he was an equity research analyst covering the commercial banking industry. Mr. Biderman was on the "Institutional Investor" All American Research Team from 1973 to 1985 and was First Team Bank Analyst in 1974 and 1976. Mr. Biderman is a Chartered Financial Analyst. Education - B.S.E. Princeton University, 1967; M.B.A. Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration, 1969.
David Greenstein
Mr. Greenstein is the President of Homestead, the home division if Li & Fung in the US. In addition to a remarkable career in creating and running successful home product companies, David was also responsible for the rebranding and sale of London Fog and Pacific trail to its present owners.
R. Glenn Hubbard
Mr. Hubbard is the Dean and Russell L. Carson Professor of Finance and Economics of the Columbia Business School; former chairman of the U.S. Council of Economic Advisers and deputy assistant secretary of the U.S. Treasury Department for Tax Policy.
Rakesh Jain
Mr. Jain is a Managing Partner with Green Brook Capital Management LLC, a special situations fund providing flexible capital solutions including private debt and equity to middle market companies characterized by distress and complexity. Previously, Mr. Jain was a principal and general partner of Stone Tower Equity Partners, a $2.5 billion private equity and credit investment fund affiliated with Stone Tower Capital, an alternative asset management firm with over $30 billion in assets under management focused on bank loans, asset backed securities and structured credit.
Suneel Kaji
Mr. Kaji is a Senior Portfolio Manager-Private Investments for the Rohatyn Group and TRG Management LP, having joined TRG in April 2009, and is based out of both TRG headquarters in New York as well as its Hong Kong office. Suneel manages the origination, evaluation, structuring, and diligence of private as well as illiquid public investment opportunities in the US, particularly those companies with an active Pacific Rim cross-border business exposure, as well as investment pursuits in East and South Asia. Suneel is also actively involved in respect of capital raising for TRG's illiquid investment activities with institutional investors from the US as well as sovereign wealth funds from Asia and the Middle East.
Skip Karetsky
Mr. Karetsky is a 38-year financial industry veteran and managing member of wealth advisory firm, The Karetsky Group, LLC; previously, managing director of Morgan Stanley (Managing Director, Private Clients); Management Committee and managing director of OFFITBANK; managing director and principal of European Investors; founding member of Restricted Stock Group at Goldman Sachs.
Steven Kotler
Mr. Kotler is Vice Chairman of Gilbert Global Equity Partners. Prior to joining Gilbert Global in 2000, Mr. Kotler, for 27 years, was with Schroder & Co. and its predecessor firm, Wertheim & Co., where he served as its Chief Executive Officer and President.
Andrew Malloy
Mr. Malloy is a Founding Investor in, as well as the Director of Institutional Sales of WisdomTree is a pioneer in global Asset Management, Inc. WisdomTree has developed the first family of fundamentally-weighted dividend and earnings indexes and ETFs. Mr. Malloy was previously at Bear Stearns & Co. Oppenheimer & Co. Inc., and TAG Associates, Ltd. At TAG, Mr. Malloy was Senior Management Director and CIO of Alternative Investment Products.
Sebastian Popik
Mr. Popik is Managing Partner for Aqua Capital Partners, a recently formed private equity firm. He has several years of experience in private equity, formerly as Managing Director of Pampa Capital. At Pampa, he played a key role in defining and raising a $365M Latin America focused agribusiness private equity buyout fund. Subsequently, he had hands-on responsibility for sourcing, structuring and managing portfolio companies, conducting buyouts of seed and pork processing companies for over $40M prior to departing. Previously, he was Chief Executive Officer for Salutia, a technology firm in Brazil and Argentina, a company he founded and ran for five years prior to exiting through a trade sale. Mr. Popik consulted for Booz & Co. in Latin America and the US, acquiring broad experience in agribusiness, food and ingredients by working with several leading multinationals in the region. Mr. Popik is on the Executive Committee and Board of Directors of Cippec, a leading Argentine think tank. He holds a Masters in Public Policy from Harvard University which he attended as a Fulbright Scholar, and has a BA in Economics from Universidad de San Andres.
